My first consultation with Gemma was in August 2008. I was suffering severe menopausal symptoms and after being on hrt for 6 years and having tried everything on the chemists shelves, homeopathy was my next hope. Gemma was familiar with my symptoms and after an hour gave me what my husband calls my "pills and potions". I started my course that day and within 10 - 14 days the difference was amazing. The hot flushes subsided (warm glows rather than raging furnaces and much less in frequency) the night sweats disappeared, my outlook on life was much clearer and brighter. On my next visit after one month I was no longer constipated, regained my confidence, no longer depressed and the flushes were down to one or two a day.
Although Gemma warned me at the beginning that this works differently for everyone, I am so glad at least I tried those first couple of months. "I first saw Gemma in 1997 and she had been advised to make an appointment with me to see what could be done along side her homoeopathic treatment. On examination I could see that her cancer had damaged her eyes greatly and her eyesight was extremely poor.

At this point Gemma had flickering double vision and her sight was long and short.

She needed 32 prisms in her lens, which meant that spectacles would be heavy to wear. The best that could be done at each examination was to provide glasses that would only slightly improve her eyesight.

These specialised glasses were made and mailed to Gemma. I had to send her different lens frequently as by the time Gemma received the glasses her eyesight would improve slightly each time.

Gemma does not need any prisms in her long vision glasses at the moment. I am amazed at her improvement."

HOMEOPATHY AND NASAL POLYPS

HOMEOPATHY HAS GIVEN ME BACK MY LIFE

In 1969 at the age of 25 I was unable to breathe through my nose and was diagnosed with nasal polyps.

I was given a Beconase spray but after some time I found that the spray made no difference. I was referred to the E.N.T. CONSULTANT and an operation was booked for me at the old hospital in Stafford.

The operation was carried out which made me bring up blood I had swallowed, and bits of polyps I felt very sick, then there was the packing in the nose to be removed which was very painful, I was relieved to have survived the operation, my nose was better to breathe through, but not clear, and no smell. It lasted approx.4yrs. only to start the same process all over again, and again!! In fact I had 6 operations over a period of 40 yrs. and I was back to square one, with my nose completely blocked again at the age of 65!

In 2009 I booked an appt. with my doctor, who referred me to the consultant at Stafford new hospital. As expected I was told by him that both sides of my nose were full of polyps. What a surprise!! I felt annoyed and for some reason I heard myself saying to him that I would find another way to get a cure. I had thought of homeopathy and found a qualified practitioner on the internet.

In my first appt I was given some small white pills and had to wait for delivery from Ireland for some other medication. After 3 weeks I felt no difference, my nose was still blocked, but some how I did feel a feeling of hope, a powerful word hope, one which I had not felt before. After my second appt. there was some relief, my sinuses were no longer painful and I could just about get some air up my nose but my medicine ran out before my next appt. and my nose blocked up again. In couple of weeks and after my third appt. my nose started to work again, it was breathing air. I felt great. 4th appt.22nd Jan.2010 I noted -My nose is much clearer and I’m starting to feel more positive about the medication. 5th appt.24th Feb.2010 Both nostrils are now clear and it’s so easy to breathe through my nose. I am able to talk without having to choose my words and for the first time in years I can feel warm air up my nostrils. My smell has not come back at this time, but I feel very positive.

Homeopathy has done what 6 operations have been unable to achieve, not to say the operations were useless, but I do think the N.H.S. should work with homeopathy, the N.H.S. would save a lot of time and money and for the patient a lot of suffering !!

The quality of my life is much, much better, people who have this disease will know how serious it is, it affected my whole life, it makes you a poor team member at home and at work, as talking is difficult with your nose blocked, you have no energy and sleep is also difficult, it lowers yourself esteem bordering on depression, you feel lousy. Since having the homeopathy treatment it feels like a different life.
